I worked with Gilda Turitz and Turitz Dispute Resolution for approximately 3 years as a co-arbitrator in a high stakes commercial arbitration in which she served as the tribunal chair. She is an exceptionally skilled chair who brought great intelligence, a wealth of experience, and strong case management skills to a very complex and extremely contentious matter. She shepherded the process through a lengthy pre-hearing period marked by numerous party disputes, a twelve-day hearing, and the drafting of more than 20 interim orders. Each party called multiple expert witnesses, some on highly technical trust law issues. She drafted two awards that carefully analyzed complex and technical legal issues, resolved extensive disputes in the expert testimony, and reached a carefully reasoned result. At each stage, her work product and work ethic was exceptional.
