Founded in 1948, Lenahan & Dempsey represents seriously injured people throughout Northeastern/Central/South Central Pennsylvania, The Pocono Mountains region and beyond. Our Firm has also been at the forefront of Insurance Bad Faith plaintiff's litigation in Pennsylvania. Lenahan & Dempsey was both trial and appellate counsel in the landmark Bad Faith case Hollock v Erie as well as winning a U.S. Supreme Court ruling (9-0) in the case of Consolidated Rail Corporation v Darrone. The Firm has grown to a staff of over 60 individuals who are dedicated to developing creative strategies and arguments for our clients. In addition to the Scranton Office, our firm has established offices in Wilkes-Barre Stroudsburg, Berwick, Tunkhannock and Montrose to better serve our clients. Seven of our attorneys have been certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as Civil Trial Specialists. Six have earned the status of Certified Civil Pre-Trial Advocates. Three of our professionals have been Certified as Worker's Compensation Specialists. Lenahan & Dempsey, P.C. is listed in Best Lawyers in America and The Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Lawyers. The Firm holds a Martindale rating of AV Preeminent. Lenahan & Dempsey handles civil cases through all phases of litigation, including trial and appeal, in state and federal court, including the United States Supreme Court. With over 20 attorneys and a full support staff, including an in-house nursing consultant, our firm's size and resources allow us to work our client's cases to an expeditious conclusion.
