We had the misfortune of taking a customer to task by placing a lien on the customer's home. This is not an option anyone wants to go with a customer. It's messy and precarious for everyone, but we chose the right timing. The Lovein Ribman firm got the lien on the home and we continued negotiating to get paid. While it took a couple of months of back and forth, we finally had a resolve. Had we not had the help of the firm behind us, we would have been coping with being unpaid a large sum for work we had completed. In the end, we felt like we definitely mattered.
